Edit as much as you like, but don't remove any credits present. They are the small © symbols. Leave them alone. You may change the color to match your custom palette for your carrd but do not make them invisible or hard to see.
Don't claim as your own work OR use this template as a base for a different template OR use it for any commissions, paid or not. If you use this template, I don't care how much you edit it, go wild, but the credit has to stay intact and you cannot claim it as your own.

How to Add More Muse Bios
At the bottom of the previous muse info section (should be the very bottom of the carrd unless you add other things), add a new
#sectionbreak
and name it what you wish. If you don't know how to do that, you can just copy the#muse1
break but you MUST rename it. Every section must have an individual name to link to, even if you just go with something simple like#muse1
#muse2
#muse3
, so on and so forth.Directly below that, add a scroll point ( the yellow line ), or as mentioned above, copy the previous scroll point and rename it if you don't know how to set one up.
Copy everything between
#muse1
and your new section and drag everything into place. Make sure you highlight the individual containers to delete instead of each individual element as that will save lots of time by copying and moving things all at once. If done right, you should only have to copy / move four things for each new muse you add (the title + two sections + the return button), unless you also need to copy the section breaks.Link to the new muse bio wherever you wish. If you link within the carrd itself, such as linking to it from the muse roster here, then you can just link with
#whateveryounamedthis
, but if you link outside of the carrd (i.e. from tumblr) then you need to put the full link. So your link would be ( https://yourcarrdname.carrd.co/#whateveryounamedthis ).
How to Add Muses to the Roster
The muses are divided into rows of three. There is a new container for every row to prevent uneven spacing. To add more muses, you need to duplicate the container as a new one instead of adding to the same one, keeping only to a row of three per container.
Make a copy of the image and description sections and move them into place. There should only be two things to copy per new muse.
If a row has an empty space with no muse, click on the container, select the column that is empty (left, middle, or right) and check the box that says "use as spacer". If you have two muses in a row instead of three and want them to center, delete the empty column and the other two will adjust automatically. If you need to re-add the column later when adding another muse, just click "add column" and the sizes should also automatically adjust in that case as well.
How to Add More Categories
Make a new yellow scroll point and place it between the last category container and the dividing line before the "scroll to top" button, or wherever you want your new category to go if not at the bottom. Give the scroll point a unique name.
Copy a box with the category title and a box with the section of muses in it and move them below the new scroll point you have just made.
Click the category buttons at the top, add a new button, and link it to the scroll point you just made. You can rearrange the buttons if the order of the categories has changed.
Image Sizing
The banner on the front page is most suited for images at a 3:1 or 2:1 ratio depending on personal preference. It should be at least 1000px wide for best results. (The one that comes with the template is 2000px wide.)
Images on the muse roster are roughly around a 5:3 ratio. They will resize based on width, so don't worry about exact size other than matching them with each other by ratio. They work best if they are at least 360px wide or greater.
The tall image in the muse bio template is at a 9:16 ratio. It will also resize based on width. If you make the bio longer, you may want a taller image, or to add another column to the container so it does not outgrow the image too much and make the spacing look weird. The image here will work best with the current spacing if it is at least 450px wide or greater.
If you need help with image sizing, or re-sizing anything / fixing spacing, you're more than welcome to shoot me a message on my blog and I'll try to help when I can.
001 Due to the subject matter that our server pertains to, we have an age restriction of 18+. This is for a copious amount of reasons, both legal and personal. No, we do not care that your birthday is in a few months. 002 Just because we are an 18+ server does not mean that anything goes. We are strictly SFW, and any content of a sexual nature will be met with an immediate ban without any negotiation. You have been warned. 003 The content we dabble in pertains to all types of horror, but specializes in psychological and gore. These are the major contributing factors that the over arching story will be littered with. We understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. 004 To give everyone peace of mind and a fair chance at enjoying themselves in our server, we have an active trigger system set in place that will assure you never come across anything outside of your comfort zone. More details about this system can be found by clicking the link above. Anyone found to be ignoring this system will be given a sole warning, followed by a kick if they fail to comply. Your safety and mental peace is a top priority for us. 005 In a similar light to the previous rule, we have a ZERO tolerance policy for any type of hate speech, slurs, belittling, bullying, being a general prick, etc. The very moment we see something like this occur, it will result in a ban with no hope of repeal. We refuse to ever allow such discretion to cross our members, no matter what.
006 Gatekeeping of any kind will also not be tolerated. One, this is a hobby. Two, who cares? The goal at the end of the day should be to have fun and support each other in our craft. We're all under the same umbrella, we just view the storm a little differently sometimes. Your past doesn't matter here, you have no enemies to face, we're all here to tell stories, get over it. 007 To add onto the previous rule, this applies to any kind of drama. It does not belong here and will not be taken lightly by any means. When you step into this server, anything outside of it is not our concern. We will gladly deal with any situation that occurs between our members, but please remember there is only so much we can do. We are taking every step we can to deliver a fun and safe experience for everyone. 008 Following the theme of general respect, all content will be considered the Original Poster's property by default. However, we ask that if anything posted is not your own work that the artist / editor be given proper credit alongside your post. There is to be absolutely no theft of any kind within the server. If we discover that you are claiming others work as your own (be it art, edits, character details, writing, etc.), you will be both banned and publicly blacklisted so as to prevent it from happening again.
009 We have introductory systems in place to assure that you are not only confident in your portrayal, but to give you the strongest first step you could possibly imagine. Not sure where to start? We have an in character process that will be both fun and the perfect way to integrate you into the story and into writing alongside the other members. Our intention is to assure that everyone is having the best time possible, all while keeping the vibes going. 010 NPCs are utilized in the server to help the storyline along and promote more diverse interactions between our members. No more twiddling your thumbs waiting for replies, there will be plenty of events and interactions to satiate your muse. 011 Now our NPCs often fall under two categories; Informative, and villainous. The first types are the ones that are here to help you on your journey and understand your plight. The latter are there to spice up your experience and inject some adrenaline. All of them can be killed, but it will not be easy, and some of them can respawn, so be careful who you put under the knife. 012 Now before you ask, yes, you are allowed to create your own NPCs. However, there are heavy restrictions surrounding this and will need to be filtered through the owner for approval. This is only to prevent anyone from taking advantage of things. We hope you understand.
1 | Some mild references or hints of triggering material, but no censorship needed. |
2 | Getting a little psychological, maybe some hints at mental disorders, a little more in depth with the descriptions. |
3 | Starting to get a little disturbing. Perhaps some blood but nothing too terrible. Mild censorship if going into explicit detail. |
4 | More blood, got it. Perhaps more than someone would be comfortable with. How did it get there? Does it need to be censored? Most likely. |
5 | This whole post is going to be a wall of black bars, isn't it? |
Each post within the server is marked with it's appropriate tier so that anyone knows what to expect. For tier 3 and up, certain graphic material will also be marked with the spoiler action. This ensures that even those who like to read others posts will never be subjected to material that will make them uncomfortable.
THE ADMINISTRATOR — Under his control, Mobius became one of the most powerful corporations in the world, with fingers in almost every pot. They would supply funding and opportunity, becoming revered in the eye of the public, when their name was spoken. The Administrator himself is a mysterious entity, his name left out of every article and biography to date, not even his staff knows exactly who he is, and while some see him as a cold and heartless individual, most proclaim that he is a visionary, his practices and goals completely proposed with the well being of the human race, and the advancement of humanity itself. He is now the head of Animus, still working diligently, with promises and contracts.
THE CREATURE — Tread lightly, and mind the dead, for she can smell the blood at your feet, and even reach through it to steal you away. She looks familiar, or is that just your mind playing tricks on you? Her strength is unmatched, and mere bullets will not protect you against her, but you may find solace in broiling hell fire, for she shies away from the flame, and screams in agony with it touches her already seared flesh. Despite her size and extensive wounds, she moves very quickly, leaving little room to react, and striking with every little opportunity. If you look closely, not that she will give you the chance, her face never reveals any hint of madness or anger. There is only sorrow and pain, burned into her features.
?????????? — She appears as nothing more than a girl in her early teens with ghostly pale flesh and sad eyes. Her appearances are rare, but when she does show herself it is never with ill intent. Depending on who she encounters, she will either lend some manner of a helping hand, or simply vanish once again without a word. She seems to favor females more, sometimes referring to the absence of her mother as being the reason, though she never divulges any information beyond that. If someone she favors asks, she'll simply give a worn smile, and either vanish, or try to change the subject. If you see her, be mindful that she is merely an apparition, just a figment of your imagination.
THE RAINCOAT KILLER — Nobody knows who this man is or what his agenda entails, but if you were to encounter him, you'd better be quick on your feet, lest you'd wish to have an ax buried in your skull. There are rumors revolving around him, that he alone was the cause of the Greenvale massacre in the 1950s, and that he only shows up when it is raining at night. Be wary, for he has a habit of popping up in unlikely places, ruthless and unhinged, he will not rest until his target has met the sharp edge of his ax. Supposedly all seeing, he makes it a habit to strike fear into his targets, making them feel as if they were nothing more than helpless prey.
THE SHADE — She is the hunter in the dark, she stalks her enemies without any touch of hesitation, muttering to herself to remind her of her goals. If you are unlucky enough to encounter her and unable to escape her seemingly endless and blinding gaze, she will devour you whole and leave nothing left. She is one of the few that disregard the Haunted entirely, killing them if they get in her way. Her voice is distorted, borderline mechanical, and she tends to amble when she walks, her long legs bent awkwardly and her heels clacking, giving her a very pronounced approach. Stay low, stay quiet, and whatever you do, don't stand in her spotlight.
THE BOUND — The first thing anyone hears is the uneven gait, wide and stumbling, sometimes dragging. She, or what she has become, will pursue until she is destroyed, and even then, is she truly dead? A habit of popping back up despite suffering fatal injuries is her calling card, her disfigured body able to withstand a devastating amount of trauma and abuse. However, those who know her true name often week, despite the fear. No longer the girl that once was bound to her true name, she stalks narrow hallways and will not hesitate to use the stock around her wrists to bash someone's head in. If you hear her approach, you may have the means to outrun her, but never underestimate her determined she may be.
THE CURATOR — Not all the apparitions you're going to encounter hold ill intent, for there are some that reflect an almost helpful aspect to them. Whether or not his involvement is genuine is entirely up to you, though we are certain he means you no harm. A collector of stories, his simple pleasure is to maintain and watch the pages as they turn, and perhaps even find some enjoyment in them. He seem to know all and tell little, like some kind of guessing game, but really, do you deserve to be given all the answers so freely? This is your story after all, no one else's, though there is nothing wrong in delighting a hint every now and again, with... incentive, of course. After all, nothing ever comes for free.
THE KEEPER — Born from the memories of unbridled rage, he is the personification of secrets kept locked away and left to fester. Though his true identity is left unwritten, The Keeper surprisingly shows tendencies that suggest a humanity buried under his plight, though he clearly has lost most of it, as he will not hesitate to crush anyone who comes near him. The safe contains an amalgam of flesh, muscle, and metal, smelling of rust and wrapped in barbed wire, his body its protector. His hammer showcases a spiked tenderizer, and he carries a sack skewed with meat hooks that is rumored to carry the brains of his victims. Approach with caution if you must, but it is wise to avoid him at all costs.
THE SADIST — There is very little expression beyond blind bloodlust when confronting the Sadist. A file tucked away in the forever growing archives lists him as Subject CB-212, a convicted murderer scheduled for death row for his crimes. How he came to be a guinea pig, his memory forever trapped inside the S.T.E.M. system is unknown, but it can be assumed that Mobius was searching for test subjects beyond the payroll, and what better place to start than the dregs of the society they wished to save? If you see him, your best chance at survival is to run, because once he sees you as prey, he will hunt you down until you are dead, and he is very difficult to kill.
THE SHADOW — Known by many names, this entity stalks the dark, preying on the most desolate and vile traits of its victims. You will be confused, possibly seeing your own face staring back at you, but is it really you? What is this evil making you do? Or has it done absolutely nothing at all? Be wary, for you may never know the proper truth, is there is even a truth to discover, and you could very well lose yourself and what little sanity you had left in the process. Nothing and everything is real, this world is all fact and fiction, spiraling around each other, entangling themselves, over and over. It feeds on the dark, nourished by it, so whatever you do, try to stay in the light.

𝑺.𝑻.𝑬.𝑴. — the passion project of the deranged, psychosomatic mind of Ruben Victoriano, birthed from borrowed blood, and endless pools of agony. Claimed by the ever reaching prowess known only as 𝑴𝑶𝑩𝑰𝑼𝑺, its intended use would never truly see the light of day, serving only to fulfill their true agenda.Humanity as a whole is a failure, no one person considered redeemable, but their consciousness remains malleable. Through the use of S.T.E.M., 𝑴𝑶𝑩𝑰𝑼𝑺 intended to unite humanity under one shared consciousness, one that they systematically controlled, giving humanity a second chance. With their first attempt, the machine was designed to allocate function only when linked to Ruben's mind, so they took what they needed and discarded the rest. Ruben, now known as Ruvik, took control of S.T.E.M. from within, his consciousness far too powerful to contain, effectively regarding the test a failure. Three years later, 𝑴𝑶𝑩𝑰𝑼𝑺 created a new S.T.E.M., using a child as its core, but once again there were people acting against them. The system began to fail, and with the actions of their assailants, 𝑴𝑶𝑩𝑰𝑼𝑺 suffered a drastic blow, where most of its members were murdered, and S.T.E.M. was once again destroyed.Where is 𝐌𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐔𝐒 now? Those with similar intents have a knack for finding one another.𝑼𝑴𝑩𝑹𝑬𝑳𝑳𝑨 — the well founded and extensively funded corporation whose sole goal was to advance humanity through the use of eugenics. With their recent failures in the Wesker Project and the Raccoon Trials, their relevance had found a steady decline, until they were approached by 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑨𝑫𝑴𝑰𝑵𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑶𝑹.It has now been five years since the corporations came together to forge 𝑨𝑵𝑰𝑴𝑼𝑺, and the third official S.T.E.M. trials were about to begin.
